Thank you for posting. This show was beautiful. The music, the venue, the crowd were all great. Having attended countless shows over the years, in the U.S. and Canada, including 10+ Furthur shows in the past few years - this was my favorite this ensemble has offered up.

Subject: Who noticed a lot of train songs?
I saw a note on the Furthur Facebook page about this, passed it to Kimmer who got back to me -
July 26th marked the anniversary of the first public railway;

An absolutely phenomenal show! If you weren't there, you should have been. It was worth the trip from anywhere. Great show all around - band's performance was outstanding, great crowd and a beautiful venue. I'm still smiling at the thought of it!

Subject: Hey Pocky Way
@shipcamein I saw the 7 Walkers do Hey Pockey Way a couple weeks back. George Porter Jr., the guy who is credited in part for penning the tune, sang it and played Bass!
Furthur is like the Disney version of the Dead for me. Hope you can check out the 7 Walkers, who have RH writing new songs, and truly going further with the concept that the GD employed. And Papa Mali's tone is killer.

Subject: They have returned
OMG - I had the best concert experience Tuesday night.

The crowd was grooving, the beer was cold, the air was warm and new friends were made.

Most of all the music was like stepping into GD heaven. John elevates Bob and Phil and the rest of the band to new heights. What a time machine they have built. Now if I could only step into it more often!

had so much fun there! short first set but was made up for during the second set's spacey jams. i think they've played Tons of Steel another time or two, but I cannot recall when or where. check out the past set lists on their website

Subject: Wow, unbelieveable
Took Bobby 3 tries to start singing Promised land, but it's OK. What a great time and a great show! The guy in front of me was beside himself when they sang tons of steel, I don't think he recovered after that :)

I had the best seat, right next to the SBD on the left. Highly recommend the venue.

Subject: Miss U Brent
Think that was 1st ever Tons of Stell for Furthur?? In any event, a fitting tribute to Brent on the anniversary of his passing. Miss you Brent and hope you are smiling down on us all.

Black Peter for Brent after an epic, dark sequence of songs. I'm speechless about the second sets this tour. Wicked short 1st set though, huh?

Subject: Thanks for the recordings!
This is a big productivity boost for me now that I know longer need to check if this is up. Thanks to Chris all the tapers (and everyone else that keeps this tour rolling)! Certainly seems to match or exceed the PNC performance...so far so good.
